Under Article 67 of Iraqi Labour Law No. 37 of 2015, standard working hours are 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week. Overtime is limited to 4 hours per day, 8 hours per week, 40 hours per 90 days, and 120 hours per year. Overtime must be paid at an additional 50% of regular pay for daytime overtime, or an additional 100% for night work, rest-day work, or arduous/harmful work.
