The role will be responsible for undertaking HSE assessments, supporting Safety studies, developing technical deliverables and providing engineering expertise to multidisciplinary teams involved in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities. The successful candidate will work as part of Wood's Iraq team and contribute to the ongoing Saftey, reliability and performance of critical production assets. Nationality Requirement: This position is open to Iraqi nationals only . Core Responsibilities: Review and acceptance of the Contractors HSE plan. Ensure the implementation of the Project HSE Management System (plans, procedures and specifications) and Contractual Security Requirements for all aspects of the work. Ensure that Operational HSE requirements are fully addressed in all aspects of design and that the design complies with TOTAL HSE Company Rules and General Specifications. Maintain a high awareness of industry and professional best practices. Provide specialist advice, supports and technical assistance to the Project Manager and Construction Manager on HSE matters. Monitor the DBOOM contractor, Pipeline installation contractor and subcontractor’s activities to ensure adherence to HSE requirements.
