A leading contracting and trading company in Baghdad is seeking a qualified Procurement & Logistics Specialist to join its team. The role involves overseeing local and international purchasing operations, securing project materials, and managing shipping logistics. Candidates must have relevant experience and strong English communication skills.
Manage and follow up on all local and international procurement operations and secure required materials for projects. Track and manage international and local shipments from the country of origin to arrival at company sites. Coordinate with international shipping companies and customs clearance agents to complete all customs procedures.
At least 3 years of practical experience in procurement, international shipping, and customs clearance. Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written) for communicating with international vendors. Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt flexibly within various teams.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
