This is an executive leadership role responsible for shaping the vision and driving execution across all products and platforms. The position focuses heavily on defining and executing an AI-native product strategy, including agent design, model evaluation, and product operations. It is a hands-on remote role requiring direct involvement in spec writing, data analysis, and setting high standards for hiring.
Own Toptal's AI product strategy across the marketplace, talent/client experiences, internal systems, and market products; decide build-versus-buy for models and tooling; make AI quality measurable through evaluations and review loops; rebuild product workflows using AI; write specs, pull data, and prototype AI agents; set hiring standards and build elite product teams.
Deep technical and strategic expertise in fine-tuning, post-training, agent design/evaluation, and production model economics; ability to work directly with AI researchers and build prototype agents; strong experience in product strategy, growth marketing, and cross-functional leadership.
Proven track record in product leadership at an executive level; experience building and managing AI-native product organizations; high proficiency in written and spoken English.
