Playson is seeking an experienced Senior Game Mathematician to join their Game Development squad. The role involves developing engaging game mechanics, performing math simulations, and collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will contribute to the entire game creation process, from concept prototyping to post-launch analytical support.
Develop engaging game mathematics and mechanics in collaboration with Product Owners and cross-functional teams; Fine-tune game mechanics into top-quality products; Perform math simulations to compare outcomes with portfolio games; Provide competitive game math analysis and rapid prototyping; Supply game math specifications and collaborate with development teams; Analyze risks, win probabilities, Big Win validations, and RTP deviation monitoring.
3+ years of successful work as a game mathematician in online gambling; Scripting skills in any programming language (TypeScript, JavaScript preferred); Good understanding of main programming paradigms; Strong ability to solve complex math problems and troubleshoot math models; Basic understanding of HTTP client-server requests; Good spoken and written English.
Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and curiosity; Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.
